Someone asked me to explain in detail how I used the coupon
I posted this on this site when it first came out. I thought that I had sign in, but didn't, so it is showing up as an "anonymous post"

Just a suggestion on how to use this coupon, but it all depends on how addicted you are to BBW(lol)
Bring in the coupon and make any purchase.
Bath & Body Works have items for $1.00, and then you will get another item for free (up to $11).
Suggested items:
Glycerine Soap $1.00
Gift Bag $1.00
Nail File $1.50
Also, make sure that if you have more than one item, have the saleperson to ring each item up sepeartely(sp).
Just in case they tell you that you they cannot ring up each item sepeartely(sp),is not true.
I asked the salesperson if she mind ringing each item seperately and the salesperson told me that, if a customer ask, she has to do it, because it is BBW store policy.
Also tell the salesperson, that you want the coupon to be used on the most expensive item.
Now, to say that the coupon is a fake, it not so true.
I have used this coupon numerous times,at the same BBW,without having any problems.
Each time that I go into BBW, its the same cashier that has checked me out, so you know that she has got to remember face.
What happen is that it was sent to selected customer who may have new stores opening in their area.
I guess that's how I got the original email, because on the email it list stores that will be opening up in March.
One of the stores that is opening up, in my area, is listed on the email
Also in the email, it say forward to a friend.

I didn't have any problems with coupon working today and used it 3 times. I could tell manager went from being totally helpful and sweet to not so much after I asked if it was ok to use coupon as I planned use. She wanted to ring up all in one sale, so I'm thinking it's a numbers and sales thing--that they push as many sales to one customer as possible. Anyway this is what I got:
2 oz body lotion Blushing Cherry Blossom for $1.00 (promo item because it's a new scent)
Got FREE with coupon--A $10.00 value gift set has a shower scrunchie, 2 oz body wash, 2 oz lotion, and 2 oz hand cream. It's wrapped in a gift bagwith bow and tag. All set for a gift. The scent is Orange Ginger Energizing.
Did this a second time bt with a warm vanilla sugar scent ahower gel and lotion gift bag.
Then a third time with an adorable set of ballerina slippers. They are so soft and cute as can be they are little Lamb slippers.
This coupon is AWESOME!!!
I ONLY PAID $3.24 FOR ALL THIS!!

That second coupon that is posted through April 12th is actually only for new stores. If you come into the store and want to use the coupon you cannot buy something that is $1 and get a $11 (or less) item for free. We can refuse the coupon if you do that. You can use it if you want to spend $11 and get the $1 product free. It kind of makes you guys look cheap when you buy the $1 item.

I think it kinda funny when people assume someone is cheap or "looks cheap" because they are smart shoppers. I'm not cheap just smart. I've use multiple times and didn't get the your cheap look from sales girls. They were very sweet-too bad you have a negative attitude about it. Did you stop to think I HAVE purchased things at full price. Which I do regularly. Or if I give it as a gift if that person might really like it and purchase it at reg. price in the future. I think you should be leaving B&B Works marketing up to the professionals. Just kindly remember it's not coming out of your pocket. Do you job without judging and do it in a friendly manner. I am sure your company would expect that from you.

Im a BBW co manager. We had been receiving these ridiculou coupn offers. and now I know WHY sheesh. Well anyhow the associates are not stupid and are on to all these stupid sites. If associates do take them at stores well then thats theire job ont he risk, its a global issue and all stores have been notified about these fradulent coupons. The company is working on this problem and in the future BBW will not be accepting printable coupons. Good luck getting freebies now.

Yea right! I don't see printables discontinued anytime soon. They've be sending those out forever. It's part of their marketing. And it works. Also it is not fraudlent. It was in fact emailed out by B&B Works. Why would an employee be at risk of honoring a coupon they produced and emailed out.
I think somebody's not telling the truth. I think somebody seems to think money is coming out of her pocket over this.

I went to a BB Works two weeks ago, and the cashier didn't honor it. She and her manager gave me so much attitude about the coupon.
So...I called Customer Service and reported them. I gave CS their names and the BBW location that they worked at. CS apologized and said that they would make a phone call to that location and make sure that those two employees will honor those coupons. In addition, I also got a $25 gift certificate for all my trouble.
So later on in the week...I went to that same BBW again , and saw those two cashiers working there...they didn't even make a peep, they just quietly rang up my order.

Bath and Body Works Regulations state that the lesser of the two items will be the free one, it works the same way with the buy 3 get one free deal they have on their sigunature collection.
Yes, if you ask them to ring up items sepratley they can do that though with most coupons it does state that there is a Limit for one coupon per person, per day. Normally if you are friendly with the employees they will let you slide.
Also, not all Bath and Body Work stores take expired coupons, and there is nothing stating that they have to.
Oh and by the way, people who complain to customer service because they dont get their way are the people who need to go jump off a bridge and make the world a better place. Yeah maybe customer service appeased you, and yeah the employees didnt say anything because they know how rediculous you really are.

Linsey, your stated "regulation" is correct, but your interpretation of it is wrong. The discount that you are referring to always applies automatically to the entire Signature line. No coupon is necessary to obtain this deal.
This would be the reason as to why there is a 25% reduction when you return an item to get store credit without a receipt. The cash register automatically assumes that you brought 3 items and got the 4th for free, hence the 25% reduction.
When BBW creates a coupon, they have the responsibility to follow it in order to please customers as well as to create new and returning ones. So when it states on their coupon, "with any purchase," it literally means you can buy a $1.00 item and get any item up to $11.00 for free. Unless they have the disclaimer that the free item only applies to the item of lesser value, they cannot enforce it.
There will always be people out there who will abuse deals similar to this. But looking at it on a bigger level, this coupon did cause a huge influx of people into BBW.
The coupon served its purpose of getting people in through the door, attracting new customers and generating higher sales. I wouldn't say that this coupon caused any economic loss for them.
As for the employees who give customers a hard time, they deserved to be put in their place. If they want to keep their job (especially in this economic recession time) they better do their job right.
BBW did not pay them minimum wage to write corporate policy.
If anyone has had any problems redeeming legit BBW coupons, call the customer service number at 1-800-756-5005.

Hii. I just wanted to reiterate the fact that technically we are not supposed to take expired coupons past a few days. I could understand it if you forgot about a coupon that was mailed to you, or that you got in a store, but printing expired coupons off of a website is sorta tacky. Sorry for the inconvenience. We are just trying to keep our jobs!

I work at a Bath and Body Works. Just to let you know, only certain stores accept expired coupons (and some that do accept old ones will limit the age- basically, don't try using something 1 or 2 years old). It's up to the store managers whether or not they will, as a policy, accept expired coupons.

I work at Bath and Body. You can use expired coupons 3 days past there date. It is a company policy. You can use as many coupons as you want in the same transaction as long as if you were to buy them by them seld you still qualify. Happy Shopping. TGhey do send out some great coupons though. I just printed 10 of my free lip gloss.

I am a bath and body works employee and just wanted to let everyone know we are almost always giving coupons out with every purchase (generally $10 off a $30 purchase), when we ask for your phone number/e-mail it is so we can send coupons to you, and also if you spend $50 at bath and body works you're going to get a $15 gift card for free until christmas :)

Hey everyone just wanted to give you a heads up about the 10.00 off coupon if you spend 30.00 or more. The coupon expires Dec. 31, 2008 but they WILL NOT let you use it. They said they dont take coupons during their semi-annual sale. I emailed corporate about this. I dont understand why they would have a coupons up if you are not allowed to use them!
