why isn't there a current printable coupon. It's always an expired one. Also most free coupon sites direct you to there site for the coupon and there isn't any. The flyer online does not show any coupons. I live in an area where we don't receive their flyers so I don't have access to the 20% off coupon.

Linens N Things take competetors coupons and will accept them up to 60 days past the expiration date. It's a wonderful thing.

Also, usually LNT will accept their own expired coupons, I've never had a problem. They don't take Bed Bath & Beyond's though, even though they're owned by the same company.

Just tried the printable coupon at LNT store today (04/27/2007) and it worked great. Didnt scan, but they punched in the numbers and it went through.

Bed Bath and Beyond stores WILL accept flyer coupons for LNT, and have always accepted my expired coupons. I have used them in the Philadelphia area multiple times. I have not tried a printable coupon yet.

I spoke to an employee of bed bath and beyond and they do take expired coupons. Also if you purchase something without the coupon you can always bring in your receipt and the coupon and they will adjust it. Love that~!

LNT and BBB are NOT owned by the same company. LNT accepts all excpired coupons but they have to be valid coupons. Coupons printed from any site other than LNT.com are not valid and are not recogncized by the company.

I found out today from a store employee that you can use up to 5 of the 20% off coupons (on 5 different items, of course) at one time. I always thought it was one per purchase; thought I'd share.

most stores generally take all coupons. last year before I went back to school- I walked in with 15 expired coupons, and they took every single one! I save about 250 dollars that day. They tend to be very lenient.

hey just used 2 linens n things 20% off coupons at bed bath and beyond on an old reciept. They will take as many coupns as you have, even if they are from somewhere else and even if they are expired unless they were only valid for a a weekend event or something. Sadly the manager told me that Bed Bath and Beyond is seriously considering no longer taking competitor coupons.

At my LNT in San Diego, they will take expired and competitors coupons. One thing I have not seen anybody else mention and my personal favorite is that you can use as many coupons as you would like, one per item. So if you buy six eligable items you can use six coupons!!!

I just found out about this site...wonderful tool!! I live in Florida and the BB&B here takes all competitors coupons to include Sears. I use the 20% off coupons at both LNT and BB&B. I also use as many coupons as I have items with no limitations. And prior purchases with a register receipts & coupons can be reimbursed to you. I also do this competitor coupon thing with HomeDepot & Lowe's. HomeDepot likes to play...Lowe's is picker. Happy saving!!!

Bed, Bath & Beyond and Linens N Things are NOT owned by the same company. Linens N Things nor BB&B will take expired competitor coupons, but they both will take their own expired coupons.

LNT definitely takes competitors coupons, Sears, Yankee Candle, etc. And they take ANYTHING that's expired (competitors & theirs). Also, they have a friends and family event 2-3x a year where they pass out a coupon for 25% off a total purchase, this is also a coupon that NEVER expires. Never ever throw your coupons away! Use 'em, they're great! Happy shoppoing!

I have taken expired coupons to LNT and they did not accept it so I left my purchase of over $150.00 and went else were.

why did you take an expired lnt coupon to their store in the first place when you can always print a valid linens n things coupon from this site.

lnt and bbb are not owned by the same company. They are competitors. They do accept both their own and bbb coupons and both expired too. I worked there for 3 years. Trust me I know!

I just used the Linens-N-Things coupons for 25% off entire purchase (Oct. 25-28)at Bed Bath and Beyond. They applied it to my bill and took 25% off the entire purchase. Not only was it expired it wasn't even from their store. I saved $75.00.
I saved it in a file on my computer and sent it to 10 of my friends. I keep a few copies in my car just in case I stop in there.

I think that the limitations of expired coupons depends on state or location. I went to the LNT in Framingham, MA the other day and they said they accepted coupons that were expired up to seven days. (This was before I found this thread, so thought I would share.)

I just called my local LNT here in the Chicagoland area to see if they would take the 25% off coupon that is now expired and they said no.

Just went to LNT in pennsylvania with exp. 25% off coupon and saved a ton.They actually have signs posted all over that says they'll accept competitor and expired coupons.

I dont think lnt will give you any problems with the coupon they are very generous with their own coupons, they also accepted expired coupons on several occasions.

I just called bed bath beyond and if it is a lnt coupon for the % off total purchase they only give it to you on the highest item. kinda sucks. oh well.

No matter what the 'official' company wide policy on coupons is, most store managers seem to choose their own policies in retail. I worked for a national retail craft chain, and I knew the official competitor coupon policy, yet every location in Austin had different policies in practice. Some took anything, some took only coupons from other craft stores, so didn't take them at all. Same with expired coupon policies. You'll just have to ask at each store you go to, and even then, when management changes (usually once a year, at least) the policy might change too.

I tried to use this coupon and they wouldnt take it. They said it's a Photo Shop coupon that people are making up.

I just shopped at Linens and Things today and asked the girl if they accept expired coupons and she said yes...so I used the "employee discount" one that was for back in October, 2007 (this is May 16/08) for 25% off total purchase and they honoured it!!!!

Linens N Things will take Bed, Bath and Beyond Coupons, even if expired. I've never had a problem with this. Also, they will use an expired 20% off total purchase coupon as a 20% off one item coupon. So, when you get those 20% off total purchase coupons, use them before the expiration in order for the coupon to apply to the full order.

I used the 25% off entire purchase coupon today 6/3/08 and it worked!. The cashier called the manager to see if they would accept expired coupons and he told her to scan it into the register and if the register took it, then yes. Register took it so I got the 25% off. I purchased over $200 of stuff for my bathroom at BBB and the sales lady told me if I could find any coupon from BBB or Linens and THings to just bring back my receipt and they would do an adjustment. I took back my receipt and the 25% off the entire purchase Linens and Things expired coupon and they gave me back $55. SWEET!

Be careful with those 25% off total coupons. the stores are not supposed to take them because they are a special. some linens n things stores wont take coupons that have a very specific timeline Ex. october 5th-10th. im an employee and i work at the cash register and we dont take 25% coupons off their deadline.

I bought curtains last week at LNT. Didn't have a coupon. I came home and found one online. I read on this blog that I could take my receipt back, along with my coupon, and get the discount. Not true. I just went to store and the clerk said it has to be within 24 hrs. of the time I purchased it. Has anyone else tried this?

these coupons can be used at bed bath and beyond. I work at BB&Y, so I know. We will take these coupons regardless of the expiration date... one coupon per item. We also take our own coupons regardless of the expiration date. I suggest printing out a ton of these and using it towards your next purchase at Bed Bath and Beyond. We also have a $10 off $30 purchase coupon avaiable for print online. :D

I printed the 25% off of entire purchase and went to the store. At first they said it was expired and they would take the 25% off of one item, but when they input the code it deducted 25% from EVERY item. Saved $250!!!!

I work at Linens N Things. We take Bed Bath and Beyond coupons... and no, we are not owned by the same company. That's why we call them "competitor" coupons; because that's exactly what they are... a competitor.

Depending on how lieniant managment is at certain stores, they WILL take single item coupons after they've expired. NOT TOTAL PURCHASE.

I know some of the Linens N Things stores in Cincinnati are going out of business, and thus not taking any coupons. The one store I went to has already begun liquidating their merchandise, currently at 20-40%, mostly 20%.

Currently in Cincinnati some of the LNT are going out of business. I visited one today and the liquidators have already started to mark products down, everything is 20-40%, but mostly 20%. They are no longer accepting any coupons at these stores, but you can still get some good deals. Melissa

Maybe SOME LnT stores will honor outdated coupons but the one in Lynnwood Washington told me no way when my coupon was only one day past.

I went to linens n things to use the 5.00 off 15.00 and they told me the coupons are no good. Only the ones printed from the linen n thing web site for 20% off.

Linens n Things is now owned by a Liquidation company. Ten days from now they will not except coupons of any kind.
Bed Bath and Beyond will still except ALL coupons(yes expired too) even when Linens and things is not around anymore.

For the people who Say LNT and Bed Bath & Beyond are owned by the same company, THEY ARE NOT. I work at LNT and know this for a fact.

Linens N Things are going out of business in my town and I hear it is nationwide. They are running store closing sales...

they have everything 10-40% off in store and on-line. they wont take the 20% single item coupon.

Linens 'N' Things has filed for Chapter 11 and is going out of business. All stores have to be out by December 31 and they are no longer accepting any coupons - competitors or their own. Just thought I'd pass this on!

Everyone be careful about purchasing any gift cards or purchasing something that you think you may want to return because once the store is completely closed, you won't be able to return anything or be able to redeem the gift cards at all!!

FYI for all of you that believe that LNT and BBB were owned by the same company, thats just stupid. They were competitors!!! trust me i worked there for 5 yrs. You may want to find out the facts before you post anything else!!!
