I went last night with the $5 off of $25 purchase and my store in Elk Grove, CA and they said they no longer honored the printable coupon unless it had your name printed on the coupon (implying that ToysRUS had to be the giver of the coupon). Good thing was, that they accidentally still gave me the discount!!! Worth a shot!

same here , my local toys r us store accepted the coupon but they told me that they will no longer accept printable internet coupons ... however i still got away with a $5 discount ( bought over $250 of toys though ) ... cheers !

I went to Toys R Us in Deptford, NJ today and they would not accept the printable coupon. I was told they were no longer accept coupons printed from the internet.

WORTH A TRY ANYWAY ,the worst that can happen is they refuse ? big deal ...

don't ask them if coupon is valid before you buy ,just present yourself at the counter with the merchandise or toys and then show them the coupon , sometimes the cashier feels guilty for not redeemimg the coupon especially if you made a big purchase ,,, ( I redeemed 2 toys r us coupons this way , worked for me ) LOL /// sandro

Most of the coupons that you find online now are not actually Toys "R" Us coupons (which is why you are having difficulty redeeming them in some cases). A good chunk of the coupons that you find online are actually very good counterfeits (the system recognizes the UPC, even though it is not the companies). As a TRU employee I could tell you a few ways that you can tell that the coupons aren't real, but I don't want to help the counterfeiters. Just keep in mind that if the cashier allows you to redeem the coupon (out of ignorance) that that particular store, not the corporation, is losing that money (and the cashier will be held responsible for accepting the coupon).

you make it sound like toys r us will go bankrupt for $5 ... pleeease . I spend over $500 last week on useless plastic toys , they changed my measley coupon of $5 out of courtesy even though they told me its not valid ,,,

the cashier called the manager and the manager redeemed the coupon without even checking the coupon or the upc numbers , as a matter of fact they even gave me a freebie , i don't think they are being ignorant , i think they are being smart ... if you buy for $25 well thats a different story.

Toys R Us will not go bankrupt over $5 true, but think about how many people are using that coupon and getting away with it. That number multiplies by quite a bit and then you factor in other things that are losses to the store like theft and refund fraud, dishonest associates, etc, and thats a big loss, which causes prices to remain high or go higher because its the only way we can stay in business. Unlike Wal-mart, we don't sell things that we pay dirt cheap for and then majorily mark up (like clothes) so we can mark down toys and games.

If you want Toys R Us to stay in business and want lower prices, don't use coupons you know are fraudulent. Its kind of like one person throwing trash on the side of road, sure one person doesn't make a mess, but if everyone did that then we'd have a huge mess that no one likes.

I think its Simple, if the coupon is fake and you know it, you are Stealing! $5 or $5000 it is Stealing!

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

toys r us are not accepting anymore printable coupons online due to abuse .

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

when shopping for a crib and mattress and stroller etc at babies r us, a lady told me her daughter had a book of coupons that gave $25.00 off of a crib and mattress combination. i asked for one at the counter and was told that it had to be mailed to me. why not just offer in store $25.00 off to anyone who makes a large combination purchase?????????????

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

But I don't see why if you bring in the entire page, with the website printed on there somewhere, it can't be redeemed. It's from toysrus.com, so toys r us should redeem them.

  Posted By : Anonymous march

yes the coupon is valid , toys r us does accept printable coupons ... Just tried it yesterday...thnx

THANKS SO MUCH.

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

worked for me in new york, thanks

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

GREAT - THANKS FOR THE COMMENT AND HELPFUL INFO.

I WILL TRY TO GIVE A GO OF IT.

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

Thomas the train coupon worked in Nebraska! It did have to be used on the wooden kind that go on the track, not the plastic ones.

  Posted By : Anonymous Gloria

Yes, Anna you are right, because I close out my browser, thinking that I could come back later and print it.

Well, I went back later and was not able to.

I got a messages saying that this coupon has already been printed.

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

That coupon was real I got the email from Toys r us in my email. It worked for me !
I didnt even know they made fake coupons though !

Thanks for the great deals !!

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

Thomas coupons are no longer working...I went there today and apparently they misprinted the coupons and they pulled the promotion...they were supposed to be for only 4 specific trains. I was so mad! If I had gone 1 day earlier I could've gotten a bunch of them! UGH! I argued with the manager because they should've still honored it for the fact that they had no information posted!

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

I was told today that the Thomas coupon is a fak. There actually a Thomas coupon out there but it has a cloud behind the word free . Thats what they told me at Toys R Us today. I did find it online.

  Posted By : Blogger Anna

its not a fake, they made a mistake

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

I tried the train coupon this past Saturday. There were signs posted all over saying that they would no longer accept them but I tried anyway to no avail. They told me that there were so many fakes being printed they decided to cancel it all together

I used the $10 off $50 or more coupon yesterday 7/1 at a toysrus in NJ and the cashier scanned it no comment made - I think you should try any and all coupons, right?

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

I couldn't used those coupons at toys r us last week.

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

Coupons worked for me down here in Texas. No questions asked. Cashier scanned it and applied discounts. :)

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

Anna, a few weeks ago you linked to a 10% off coupon when the baby registry is updated. Could you please repost the coupon?

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

i'm a cheapy who would use $5 off $25 coupon and only purchase enough (under $30) at babies r us. works all the time!!! ;)

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

My husband tried to use the 20% off coupon and they told him it had already been used. He told them he printed from the internet and never used it.

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

The mail lady or post office KEEPS STEALING MY 20% COUPON FROM THE BABIES ARE US BROCHURE. Does this happen to anyone else? ..not cool.

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

Worked for me at the Los Angeles location. No questions asked and $5 coupon scanned fine.

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

Does anyone knows where to get the $10off of $50 or more coupon?

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

i would report that mail lady to your post office if she steals a coupon what else is she stealing?

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

Think about it??? Some people might not shop at Toys R US without that $5.00 dollar coupon... It actually helps Toys R US make money!!!!!

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

How do you know it is your mail lady? Is there any possibiltiy that the coupon came off during processing? Thousands & thousands of these coupons go thru printing, processing & sorting machines - many are damaged in the process. Remember what they say about people who "ass"ume!

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

Hey I took an Internet coupon from toys r us they wouldnt accpet at the store to wal mart and they gladly accepted it so not only did I get the product cheaper i saved even more using their price match policy. It's not stealing its taking advantage of reverse marketing. Really does it make a difference? Toys RUs is owned by the chinese anyhow!

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

how do you print the coupon?

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

I got a postcard with $10 off $50 in the mail today.

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

Here is my take. U take the coupon to with ur items to the register. If they dont honor the coupon then u leave the items and take ur business to a store that will honor coupons

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

The BRU link is outdated. Here's a link to the one for 6/19-6/25/11

anyone has a 10 off 50 coupon valide for july 2011?

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

Toys R Us does print up some good coupon deals however during the summer you do not see too many. The coupons are usually for bigger purchases. I have 3 little ones so I make a list prior to going and I save $100s over the 3 month period. Be a smart shopper when using coupons. You can reprint them but have to use them in different transactions. Don't forget to use your Rewards card. That offers so much and will send you more coupons.

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

The Rewards card is a joke! They sent me a $10 coupon, but I had to spend a certain amount to use it last January. Furthermore, they only gave me a week to use it. Why would I want to buy anything then, and why would I want to have to spend more money to use it? That's not a reward at all!!! A true rewards program gives you rewards that you don't have to spend money to use and gives you several months in which to use them. I know one company that will even honor them after they've expired, if you call them. That's a company that cares about its customers. TRU does NOT care at all.

I have many complaints about TRU. They are a VERY greedy company. Their return policy is ridiculous. I get so many gifts that I can't return because of their their policies. Not everyone hangs on to receipts, especially Grandparents. Even I lose them from time to time. Furthermore, most of their employees could care less about making customers happy. I can't tell you how many times I've been treated rudely there.

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

Toy R Us does send out coupons if you join there rewards club and/or birthday clubs. We receive coupons in the mail almost monthly. Usually you can use only one coupon at a time. In small print coupons will say if they can be used with other coupons.
To the people who were denied use a coupon, if they make an exception for one person, they would have to do it for everyone. Asking an associate to do something that could get them fired isn't right. I worked retail and have seen people get fired for coupon misuse.

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

Sandro,

I strongly agree with you that initially there is no need to ask about validation of coupen before making any purchase but when I visit the Toys R Us ; I got discount around 5$. Good Experience overall!

  Posted By : Anonymous Anonymous

Babies R' Us takes Bed Bath 20% off coupons (non-expired). The reason being is Buy Buy Baby is part of Bed Bath, as well as direct competition of Babies R' Us. Not many know they except those coupons but, it sure helps. Who doesn't like saving 20%?! :)
