Obtaining the $4.00 coupon is not done simply by answering a few questions. You need to be ready to supply a lot of personal info. Even then, there is no indication as to the delivery method of the coupon, time span of receipt, where it will be accepted, etc. And if you are like me and live in a no-mail-delivered-to-your-home rural area, forget it, as they do not accept PO Boxes. A lot of jumping through hoops.

I couldn't get to the $4 coupon. After I answered the two pages of questions, I was told to choose a registered organization in my area to receive $1 when I redeemed my coupon. Sounds great, huh? No regsitered organization in my area, no coupon. Purina ripoff!!

I registered to get the coupon and went through the process until it asked me to install the coupon printer program on my computer. Sorry, no dice. I don't have to install anything on my computer to print a simple coupon. It's a good offer if you can get the coupon, but otherwise....thumbs down.

To the moron that said this is a Purina ripoff... it is not a ripoff just because you don't live close to a shelter. To everyone else... for $4.00 coupon... this could not be more simple. Answer survey questions, fill in and submit your info and it takes you to a screen where you click "Print Coupon". You get a $4.00 off coupon and when you redeem your coupon, Purina gives $1.00 to the local shelter you selected. A WIN, WIN! I did it 4 times all together for other family members. (You can select not to receive future mail or email promotions.) It did not ask me to download software because I already had it. The coupon software works for other coupon sites as well. No problems here. Great deal!

Did not work for me. I downloaded the printer program (scanned it and it was virus-free), but it does not work for me. Matter of fact, I had lousy luck with all of these offers. I am feeding 20+ dogs and 10+ cats, so the coupons are quite helpful.

Add me to the list of the ones that could NOT print the coupon! I tried several times, then decide my time was worth more than the coupon. I've never had trouble with other coupon sites. It's not worth the trouble. If there's no organization within 25 miles that is registered with them, forget about filling out the pages of questions because you won't get a coupon. This is what happens when long-time American companies are bought out by foreign firms. When I try to post this message, I get a message telling me to "enter the letters". What letters?

I had to switch off my spyware doctor and had to use internet explorer, but I was finally able to print this coupon. It only let me print the coupon for two members of my family. I have six cats of my own, maintain a feral cat colony, and am unemployed so these coupons will really help.

I shop at Giant Eagle and tried to use the printable coupons i got from this site. I was told no. They will not accept them. I went to Wal-Mart and had no problems. I guess Wal-Mart wants my business more than Giant Eagle.

You do not have to even give an address... scroll a bit futher down the page, type in your email address then select if you wish to recieve communications or not, after that you print your coupon...no hoops.

Just answered 2 pages of questions...typed in my zip and selected a organization to donate the dollar to. And I live in a rural town, about 20-25 miles to the nearest WalMart, Target, etc. You can choose whether you want communications from Purina.

5/13/09 The coupon for $4.00 on cat chow has changed to $3.50 for either cat or dog. I had no problems.
There are only 8 questions, printing was easy and I had to print through my companies printing system.
Donating a $1 to a shelter made me go back through the steps.

There isn't a participating shelter in my area, so I put in a different zip code within my state, it took a couple of tries, but I'm a dog lover so it was worth it to help a shelter out... and GOT my coupon... I think its important that you have to follow through picking a shelter so they can donate $1.00 to them - thats part of the agreement to get the coupon... then print.. not a difficult task! :)

I love Purina Dog Food because my dogs seem to love the taste. It is the only thing that my terrier-poodle mix seems to eat.

I have looked into what Moffatt said and have found that he is indeed right. some purina coupon codes can actually be printed off with small donations, etc. It is pretty simple and easy. I love technology!

I have been trying to get a coupon for my dog food-not puppy food. The only coupons I can find from Purina are for cat food, puppy chow, and canned food. I need a coupon for regular old dry purina dog chow. I read all of these comments, and found that if I try the $4 cat chow coupon, it would give me 3.50 off my dog chow also. I clicked on that, and viola! it is the same darn bowl thing that has expired. I have to agree with some on here that the savings is not worth the effort. Really..if they are going to limit what you can print and make you set for 30 min doing surveys I really dont think its worth it. Got the $5 coupon by "Like" ing the Pro Plan Facebook Page. No trouble here. Already have the printer application as I print other coupons anyway. You can hit your back button and then "retry" button and you can get another coupon as well. No rip off for me. Thanks for the coupons! 10-28-11

After being able to print one coupon: $3.00 off ProPlan shredded lamb dog food, I have spent the last 3 months, Aug, Sept, Oct, 2011 trying to duplicate the download. I get to the window that says "your coupon is downloading"........My printer never moves and when I try to reapply their website says "I've already down loaded my allotted coupon(s). Fortunately, there are other dog food mfgs., to shop from.

You would be better off to just call purina and ask for them to mail you some çoupons. They are happy to do it and you have them in the mail in 5-7 days.
